The Society for Contemporary Crafts The organization's mission is to promote contemporary craft. It has a gallery, gift shop, education and exhibition programs. Technology planning was incorporated into its strategic planning for a facility expansion. Reports Janet McCall, Executive Director, "As a result of our mission-focused technology planning, we experienced a significantly increased knowledge base about technology throughout the entire organization. This led to a new level of confidence and enthusiasm about the use of technology in the workplace, as well as much more initiative, experimentation, and curiosity among staff about moving forward in this area." |
