Programs & Services Arts/Mail - We will redesign the customer database to capture more detailed information on buying habits and contribution history. Upgrading the database to Microsoft ACCESS will enable us to utilize the relational capabilities that are inherent in the program. The redesign of the ticketing database to ACCESS will incorporate the production of contracts, therefore eliminating double entry of information. In addition, financial information will to be directly accessible by the Finance office over the network. BosTix - Financial information will be immediately accessible to the Finance office first via email and then over the remote access network. More importantly, email will become the principal form of communication between the BosTix booths and the office. Once we have reached Phase III in 3-5 years and the remote access issue has been solved, the office and booths will have a streamlined information system in place. Arts/Travel - The redesign of the travel database will allow us to capture more detailed information on travel histories and integrate Arts/Travel information with the customer database. We must upgrade the database to ACCESS for the software's relational capabilities. Financial information will be directly accessible to the Finance office over the network. Tomorrow's Audiences - We will be able to communicate via email with the T/A groups, making communication more efficient for all parties involved. The T/A director will also be able to publish online study guides for the children attending upcoming T/A events. Web access will allow kids to access the study guide site from home or from the participating T/A agency. Member Services -By increasing our communication with the arts groups over the web, we will generate more income for Arts/Boston through increased poster and list sales. Also, Member Services will institute a Hardware Recycling program. Ultimately, Arts/Boston members will be able to apply for used computers when we upgrade our hardware.
