Change The most important lesson we have learned is that we constantly need to look to the future and comprehensively plan for it. The next phases of our technology plan will include remote access for the BosTix locations, increased marketing and sales via the Internet and a commitment to renew technology on a continual basis. A full-time staff person will be responsible for keeping the company technologically functional and that Arts/Boston will be able eventually to share its growing knowledge with the performing arts community. The staff technology team will continue monthly discussions about upgrades and new technological advances. Quarterly, the staff technology team will make its recommendations to the board technology team and Executive Director. Annually, both technology teams will present an upgrade report to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. The Board technology committee will be comprised of board members and non-board technological experts to create a diverse pool of expertise.
